Terms of Service

By using the ChecIt mobile app or checit.app, you agree to these Terms. ChecIt helps people discover food, use AI-assisted food tools, share food content, collaborate on carts, and request reservations. Place information may come from Google Places or another identified source. ChecIt is not affiliated with every restaurant shown.

Provide accurate signup information and protect your account. You control what you publish. Follows, blocks, and mutes shape your experience; reports may be reviewed by ChecIt moderators. Stories are designed for 24-hour audience delivery, but moderation, deletion, or owner archive records may remain.

Do not harass people, evade blocks, impersonate others, manipulate engagement, or misuse another person’s private information.

Joining a Tasting Room shares your display identity, presence, selected items, notes, and split amount with that cart’s participants. Review the final cart before any merchant next step. For reservations and waitlists, you are responsible for accurate party details, requests, and timely cancellation. A request is not confirmed until ChecIt or the restaurant shows a confirmed status.

Review-only schedules do not place orders automatically. Separately enabling Automatic Order Ahead authorizes ChecIt to submit the exact displayed meal to its approved ChecIt restaurant at the selected times without asking again for each order, within your per-order limit, total spending limit, maximum order count and expiry. The reviewed delivery address stays fixed. Changing the saved meal later does not change an existing authorization; revoke it and authorize a fresh plan to change instructions.

Each submission requires current subscription access, restaurant availability, exact menu choices, supported fulfillment and a current USD total within your limits. Totals may change and include the quoted fees and tip. Unavailable or changed choices require attention; ChecIt does not substitute a different meal. Missed scheduling windows are skipped, with no catch-up orders. An order submission does not guarantee restaurant acceptance or fulfillment.

Automatic ordering submits restaurant orders; it does not pay for food. Pay the restaurant directly under its payment terms. Pause or revoke a plan to stop future submissions. An order already submitted before a pause or revocation takes effect remains active and must be managed separately in Orders, subject to the restaurant’s cancellation rules. You can view submission results and receipts in the app. Check preparation and allergy requirements directly with the restaurant.

Live restaurant calling and SMS remain unavailable until enabled for the applicable region and provider. If enabled, you must review the food or reservation request before a call. Chec identifies itself as AI, follows the approved consent flow, and does not accept payment-card details. SMS requires opt-in; reply STOP to opt out. Message and carrier rates may apply.

Paid plans bill through the App Store or Google Play when enabled. Trials and promotions may be limited by account and a one-way device hash. Cancel in store settings; refunds follow store rules and local law. Food is never an in-app purchase. Merchant, wallet, or approved provider terms govern any external food payment.

Connecting a personal OpenAI API key is optional and authorizes ChecIt to use it for your in-app Agent replies and attached chat photos. OpenAI bills usage to your provider account separately from any ChecIt subscription. ChecIt plan and safety limits still apply. A connection check confirms access to the configured model record; it does not guarantee available credit or permission for a reply. If your connected key fails, ChecIt does not silently switch that request to its included service.

The daily request cap counts model requests, including tool rounds and failed attempts, rather than dollars. One reply may use several requests. Monitor provider usage and use the controls available in your provider account. Only submit keys you are authorized to use, and remove or rotate a key if it may be compromised.

ChecIt developer keys support only the documented endpoints and granted scopes, with expiry, revocation, and rate limits. They do not authorize orders, payments, unrestricted Agent access, or access to another user’s private information. Protect issued tokens and comply with the terms of any integration you choose.

Paid placement is labeled Highlighted ✦. Businesses and creators must keep promotions, prices, availability, menu, and nutrition claims current and truthful. The label does not mean ChecIt guarantees the offer.

Do not scrape the service, bypass safety or billing, probe other users’ data, upload material you do not have rights to use, or post illegal, harmful, deceptive, non-food spam. You keep ownership of your content and give ChecIt the limited rights needed to host, process, moderate, and display it for the audience you choose.

Chec Health, calories, macros, allergens, and nutrition suggestions are informational and not medical advice. Always verify allergens, ingredients, prices, hours, availability, reservations, and order details with the restaurant or current source. AI output may be incomplete or wrong.

If you enable ChecIt location consent and device or browser permission, ChecIt may refresh your search center while open in the foreground without changing your selected search radius. You can withdraw location access in Settings. Photos you choose to attach are processed with your prompt for AI assistance, as explained in the Privacy Policy. Review photo-based suggestions and verify ingredients, allergens, safety, and current restaurant details independently.

ChecIt may restrict content, accounts, or businesses that violate these Terms or create risk. The service is provided “as is” to the extent the law allows. We do not guarantee a restaurant response, fulfillment, reservation, promotion, price, or uninterrupted availability.
