What we collect
Account email, profile answers (allergies, preferences, optional health metrics), location when you allow it, device IDs for guest limits, agent usage, and content you post or save.
How we use it
To operate the features you request, enforce plan limits, show nearby places when you allow location, and personalize food help only when personalization is enabled. Optional uses can be changed in ChecIt Settings.
Sharing
We use processors such as Supabase (database/auth), OpenAI (AI), Google Places (place data), and optionally USDA FoodData Central for nutrition lookups. We do not sell your personal data.
Location
Location helps find food near you. You can deny GPS and still browse with limited relevance. Revoke in app Settings or device permissions.
Voice and dictation
Push-to-dictate audio is sent for transcription and is not stored by ChecIt. A reviewed restaurant call, when enabled, uses the private Information Profile and retention choices you approve; payment-card details are excluded.
Export, retention, and deletion
Signed-in users can export a JSON copy of their ChecIt data and delete their account from Settings. Deletion removes account data and owned media; completed business orders are retained only as anonymized records where operational or legal retention applies. For help, email checitinfo@gmail.com .
International
ChecIt is built for global use. Data may be processed in the United States or other regions where our providers operate.
Children
ChecIt is not directed at children under 13 (or the local digital consent age). Contact us if you believe a child provided data.
